In 2003, Tony and Shelly Shelton founded Sonitx in Nevada with a vision: to revolutionize the commercial air filtration industry with sustainable, cleanable filters. They were joined by Chris Shelton in 2005, Jillian Shelton in 2009, Ryan and Sailina Hinriches in 2019 and Fayth Shelton And Abby Miles in 2020. What began as a small, local effort quickly grew, fueled by a commitment to reducing waste and providing businesses with customized filtration solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Over two decades, Sonitx has replaced enough disposable paper filters to form a line stretching across the entire United States! Sonitx has divisions and partner companies that service most of the west and the Great Lakes area.

Today, Sonitx West proudly continues the original Sonitx mission in Nevada, offering businesses our signature custom-manufactured HVAC filters, improving indoor air quality (IAQ), and providing cutting-edge coil cleaning operations that are not only environmentally friendly, but are much more effective than Most HVAC companies.
Sonitx West is who the HVAC companies call when they have large or complex coil cleaning jobs because we've built a reputation for excellence in the field.
We're more than just a filter company; we're a partner in building a cleaner, greener, and more cost-effective future for Nevada's commercial buildings.

To better serve its growing markets, Sonitx strategically expanded into specialized divisions in 2020.
Sonitx - Owned by Chris Shelton - Specializes in Government contracting for coil cleaning only, covering Nevada, California, Arizona, and Utah.
Sonitx West - Owned by Ryan and Sailina Hinrichs - Specializes in Retail, Industrial, and Office coil cleaning and air filter service in Nevada and Arizona.
Sonitx National- Owned by Abby Miles and Shelly Shelton - Manufactures Electrostatic Air Filters for purchase Nationwide
Faythworx - Owned by Fayth Shelton - provides On-Ground water runoff filtration for the Pressure Washing Industry and Others.
All these companies came from an idea, back in 2003, that we were told, wouldn't work.
